If You Only Knew Yimmy - This version of "If You Only Knew" was written by our own trombonist, Dr. Clifford Weeks. Cliff wanted to feature his very good friend, Jim Pastore and in this fabulous arrangement and he did just that. Jim is featured on Flugal horn. Billy Thompson is featured on flute.

The Count Is In - A tribute to the one and only, Count Basie, pianist Ed Chenoweth takes the first solo, followed by tenor saxophonist Doug Leaffer. Gerry Barrett uses a plunger mute on the trumpet solo followed by Doctor Cliff Weeks. The full band gets into the act and we bring it home with Ed Chenoweth once more.

I'm Beginning To See the Light - Listening to vocalist Phyllis Fallon is sheer delight. A small jazz club plus a big band behind her, Phyllis is unstoppable. She has the vocal chops to be in the big time but New England is her home and traveling is not her thing. the world may be missing her but we we're not. she is great with only a pianist to back her up. Couple her with a magnificent big band and that is a combination you can not beat.

Blue Skies - Another chance to hear Phyllis with Special Edition. Phyllis works in and around Boston and the entire New England area. Always in demand, she balances her vocal life with her regular slave gig life. I don't know about you, but I think she should chuck the day gig and sing full time.
