Cliff Weeks wears many hats. He can play lead trombone or jazz trombone within the band.

He attended Berklee College of Music, The New England Conservatory, Boston Conservatory, Boston State College (Univ of Mass, Boston) and Boston University. Also Former Music Director and Arranger, The Sabby Lewis Orchestra; Performances with the Duke Ellington Orchestra under Mercer Ellington; Also performances with Diana Ross; Gladys Knight & the Pips; Frank Gorshin; Sandler & Young; Roy Hamilton; Arrangements for the Greater Bostonians and John Bubbles; Former Director Boston College Jazz Band; His Oratorio "The King" for orchestra, chorus, and narrator based on the life and teachings of Dr Martin Luther King Jr. was performed by members of the Boston Symphony Orchestra at their Youth Concerts.

Cliff's original composition, Tryptych for Tuba and Piano earned him recognition in several "Who's Who" books.

During the days you will find him as an Executive Assistant in the Superintendent's Office of the Boston Public Schools.

If that were not enough, he also is a very accomplished musical arranger and has written many of the tunes we have in the book. GBSO is indeed lucky to have him as part of the organization.
