night you can find the
Special Edition Big Band
at an open rehearsal
in Salem, Ma inside the Historic Hawthorne Hotel ballroom from 7:30 until 10:00 PM.
This open rehearsal is FREE and open to the general public.
If you are a musician and contact
us ahead of time, you may be invited to bring your instrument
and
sit in with the band for a short while. Vocalists who have their own big
band charts are also encouraged to sing with us.
The plan is for the band to rehearse
every Monday night but it is not always possible.

enjoying a fine sinner and fabulous bar. Easy to get to, it is a great way
to spend HUMP day
and an early night. This band features jazz and standards. Nine
musicians from all over New England are featured in the band and a couple of
them are fine arrangers. Stop in EVERY OTHER Wednesday night for some
great Jazz
